Monster Haul: Pixel Monster-Survival Brawler With 60+ Weapons
Blast endless slime, bat and goblin waves in this fast pixel-art brawler. Draft 60+ wild weapons, fight bosses across 3 worlds, and chase your high score.
What is Monster Haul?
Monster Haul throws you into a top-down pixel arena where monsters pour in from every direction and your weapon fires on its own. You move, you aim, everything else explodes. The hook is the weapon draft system: each level you pick cards from 60+ options ranging from basic blasters and boomerangs to chain lightning, flamethrowers, saw blades, meteor strikes and a rare Black Hole. After about 20 minutes the upgrade screen becomes the real game, and figuring out which combos stack is half the fun. The 3 worlds (Verdant Wilds, Ashen Crater, Frostbite Tundra) get chosen at random each run, so a Forest start can end in a lava crater. Elites and bosses unlock as you push deeper, and they hit hard. It's great if you've got 20 minutes to kill and want something that rewards picking up one more upgrade, but the early waves can feel repetitive before you get a weapon that actually pops.
Honestly I spent about 20 minutes on this one before I figured out the controls — but once it clicks, it clicks. If you end up liking Monster Haul, there's more where that came from. Check out Iron Man Repulsor Rush — Free Arcade Flyer Game Online for a similar vibe on BB Online Game. Both load right in your browser, zero download.

How to Play Monster Haul
Each run starts with a basic pea-shooter type weapon and a single screen full of weak slimes. Move into crowds, aim where they're clustering, and let the auto-fire do work. Every 30 seconds or so a card screen pops up offering 3 weapon or upgrade options, and what you pick shapes everything that follows. Levels last somewhere between 5 and 10 minutes depending on how fast you push forward. The first world is pretty easy and you'll feel like a god. By world 2, the bombers and spiders start layering damage and you can't just stand still anymore. The boss fights near the end of each world punish greedy players who skipped movement upgrades. Frustrating part: sometimes you draft 3 weapons in a row that don't synergize and the run just dies in the next wave. Resetting takes 2 clicks though, so it's no big deal.

Game Controls Monster Haul
Desktop controls: WASD or Arrow keys to move, mouse to aim, weapons auto-fire on their own. P or Esc pauses, M mutes sound, and 1/2/3 lets you pick upgrades mid-run. Mobile players get dual-stick controls plus a fire button. Pro tip: don't waste the first 3 seconds of a run mashing keys, just pick one direction and start shooting.
Keyboard controls can feel a bit weird the first 2 or 3 rounds, but they get comfortable fast. For a different control setup, try HUNTMAN: A Stickman Archer Game That Made Me Rage-Click — it uses a similar scheme and runs just as smooth on BB Online Game.
Key Features Monster Haul
60+ weapons from blasters and boomerangs to meteor strikes and a rare Black Hole that warps the whole screen
3 randomly selected worlds per run, so every session routes differently between Verdant Wilds, Ashen Crater, and Frostbite Tundra
Auto-fire aim system means you focus entirely on dodging and positioning while weapons handle themselves
Boss and elite waves unlock deeper you push, scaling enemy HP and damage far past world 1
Card-draft upgrade screens appear every 30-60 seconds with 3 picks each, letting you stack build-defining combos
1-2 minute runs fit anywhere, but chasing the high score will eat a whole evening if you let it
Tips & Tricks Monster Haul
Don't chase elites early, killing 10 small monsters gives better upgrade tempo than chasing 1 big one
Pro tip: stack 2-3 of the same weapon tier before swapping to a new type, multipliers carry over
I wasted a full 15-minute run before realizing the 1/2/3 hotkeys work mid-combat, not just on the card screen, way faster than clicking
Save the Black Hole for boss waves, using it on regular mobs is a waste
Keep moving in circles around the arena, standing still gets you cornered by spiders fast
Mute the sound early if you're grinding high scores, the pixel death sounds get old by hour 2
If you enjoy this style, Bills Must Be Paid is worth a look too.
Why Play Monster Haul?
The Black Hole and meteor strikes are the kind of screen-clearing nonsense most survival games save for paid DLC. Auto-fire also means this is one of the few monster-survival games where a controller-only player can compete with mouse users. The pixel art is detailed but not flashy, which keeps frame drops low even when 200+ enemies fill the screen. Weakness: if you don't like rng-heavy draft systems, every run can feel like you're playing someone else's build.
