What is Zombie swarm?
Zombie Swarm throws you into a top-down arena where zombies pour in from all sides and your weapon does the shooting for you while you just focus on moving and staying alive. Between waves you grab resources, craft better gear, upgrade your hero's skills, and unlock perks — so you're always chasing the next thing to spend your loot on. If you like Vampire Survivors-style 'walk and let the bullets do the work' gameplay but want more of a shooter feel, this scratches that itch pretty well. The solo loop is solid, but the duo co-op is where it gets weirdly fun — reviving your buddy mid-combat while a horde closes in is a whole different kind of panic. Defense mode, where you protect a drill with card-based abilities, is a nice switch-up too. That said, the screen gets chaotic fast and sometimes you can't tell what's a pickup versus an enemy. Fans of arena shooters and zombie games will probably sink a few hours into this without noticing.

How to Play Zombie swarm
Each run starts with picking a hero and dropping into the arena. Shooting is automatic so you're really just dodging and kiting zombies around while your gun tears through them — first wave is a warmup but by wave 5 or 6 you're sprinting for your life. Between waves you hit the shop to craft items and buy perks, and honestly I wasted my first couple runs upgrading things that didn't help much. The Defense mode plays completely different: you're building a card deck to hold off zombies from your drill, which feels like a tower defense mini-game bolted on. A full session can stretch 20-30 minutes if you survive, but most of my runs ended around the 10-minute mark because I got cornered.

Controls are dead simple on PC: WASD or arrow keys to move, and your gun fires automatically while the mouse aims wherever you point.
