Lucky Block: A Chaotic 3D Obby That Doesn't Hold Your Hand
Lucky Block: A Chaotic 3D Obby That Doesn't Hold Your Hand
Sprint through a 3D obby and turn into a giant block to dodge guards. It's fast, kinda clunky, and completely took over my afternoon.
What is Lucky Block?
Lucky Block throws you into a 3D obby where you start as a normal character running through a safe zone. The second you cross into enemy territory, you transform into a giant block and every guard on the map wants you dead. You have to dodge, weave, and collect stuff while making your way to the finish line. If you like speed-based avoidance games with a janky charm, this hits the spot. The shift from normal movement to clunky block physics is disorienting at first, but that's kind of the whole point. People who get frustrated by imprecise controls should probably skip it.
Honestly I spent about 20 minutes on this one before I figured out the controls — but once it clicks, it clicks. If you end up liking Lucky Block, there's more where that came from. Check out Dragon Draw Joust: I Drew a Noodle and Somehow Won for a similar vibe on BB Online Game. Both load right in your browser, zero download.
If you need a break from the chaos, juicy crush saga is a solid palate cleanser.
How to Play Lucky Block
A typical run takes about three to five minutes once you know the route. You start in the safe zone, running and jumping over basic obstacles while collecting whatever you can grab. Nothing too stressful here. Once you hit the enemy zone, everything changes. You turn into a block and suddenly can't see where you're going because the camera angle is terrible. The guards swarm fast and don't let up. Died maybe fifteen times on the second zone before I realized you can use G to grab the trophy mid-chaos instead of standing still like an idiot.
For something way more chill after this, Space Aim Kids does the trick.
Game Controls Lucky Block
Moving around uses WASD or arrow keys, which is pretty standard. Took me a solid ten minutes to figure out that hitting Tab toggles the mouse so you can actually click the pause menu without your camera spinning out. You use E to interact with stuff and G to grab the trophy at the end. Scroll wheel zooms the camera in and out, which you'll definitely need when your giant block body blocks half the screen.
Keyboard controls can feel a bit weird the first 2 or 3 rounds, but they get comfortable fast. For a different control setup, try Goo Odyssey: A Slime Platformer That's Got Some Tricks Up Its Sleeve — it uses a similar scheme and runs just as smooth on BB Online Game.

Why Play Lucky Block?
Compared to other obby games on BB Online Game, Lucky Block actually forces you to think about positioning instead of just jumping. The block transformation is annoying but adds stakes that most avoid games lack. Worth playing if you want something harder than your typical collect-and-run.
