You play as a future hero roaming a 3D city, smacking bad guys with a hammer and blasting them with lightning. Missions send you around the map to take down enemies, and combat is mostly about juggling your hammer throws, melee swings, and shock attacks. Most of your time goes like this: spawn in, get a marker on your map, sprint over, and clear out a group of thugs using hammer throws and lightning. Fights last maybe 30-60 seconds each, and missions wrap up pretty quickly once you know where to go. Early on I wasted a ton of hammer throws because I didn't realize recall was instant.
